Javier Arana designed the Guadalmina Golf Club in tow phases. The two phases offer the golf a quite different test of golf. The South course is laid out on a much flatter terrain. The wide fairways of the south course wind through the stands of pine and jacaranda trees with water coming into play now and then. The 36-hole facility offers something for everybody. There are actually two holes where you actually get to play right besides the Mediterranean, which is quite rare and is a huge factor to this picturesque course.
